Relying on China's independent S-band satellite mobile communication system, the airborne satellite communication system is specially developed for voice and data communication in civil aircraft cockpit. The system is mainly used for providing safety communication with integrity and rapid response for front cabin, and communication link for air traffic control, flight intelligence, meteorological information and alarm. It supports interconnection with onboard communication management system (CMS), maintenance management system (OMS) and tuning control panel (TCP).
